Waiting For This Dress

Dress - Max Studio - Similar

With this dress I would not be surprised if you could tell how absolutely stuffed I am in this picture.  I took these photos after Jules and I returned from a glorious dinner out at Greenfield Churrascaria in Long Beach CA.  If you don't know, that is a Brazilian BBQ restaurant.  That is where they bring around various cuts of meat on skewers and slice off bits for you to gobble down.  And they just keep coming round and round and round until you eventually give up and roll out of the restaurant and sink into a food coma!

Anywho.... I bought this dress near the end of last summer and I just couldn't ever bring myself to wear it.  Why, you ask?  Well, I have not felt comfortable in it as it leave nothing to the imagination.  It is a simple sheath dress with no structure to it whatsoever.  And thus it shows every single little bump and curve and roll that you have.

I have continually kept thinking that if i lost a bit more weight then maybe I wouldn't have my little tiny stomach pooch that I have and I could look smashing in this dress.  And then this last weekend, while trying to decide what to wear, I finally decided to get over my own paranoia about it and just go for it.

I am so happy that I did, because I think I look pretty darn good in it.  And those boobs!  There is nothing magical happening here in those photos.  That is not a trick of shading or anything.  That is a standard bra and my my lovely, Love Fif Bra Support.

Okay.... that is about it for today.

Thoughts:
- I am so behind on my blogging desires!  I have so much that I want to write about and yet so many other things are taking up my life!  Ahh!!!!
-  I got an interview up over at Sister House if you are so inclined to go check it out.
-  I picked up food poisoning this past weekend!  Yay! Weight loss!  Seriously?
-  Life??????????

Love you!

  1. Nadine...
I know you're reluctant to take your pictures outdoors without sunglasses, but these photos are proof positive that you certainly don't need them in the shade. They are a lovely testament to the woman within.
